The Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 14 consultation formally started on Monday 24 October and ends at 9:00AM on Monday 12th December.  The Neighbourhood Plan looks to the future of Botley Parish until 2036. It has to pass both the Regulation 14 and Regulation 15 stages. When Adopted, EBC has to take it into account in Planning Applications and other matters.

Botley Gardening Club

A lively club for all those interested in gardening; for experts, amateurs and "armchair" gardeners alike. We have speakers covering a wide range of topics, from bee keeping and roses, to organic gardening and wildlife. There is also the lively social life of the Club, which includes Christmas and Summer Socials and outings to gardens.
Meetings are currently held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Upstairs Room of the Botley Market Hall, with a stair lift available. From the March 2023 meeting onwards, we are transferring downstairs to the Main Hall and changing to the third Thursday of the month starting at 8pm; giving us more room and easier access for all.

The showpiece of the Club is the annual Autumn Show, held each September in the Market Hall. A truly traditional village event where fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers and home produce are all on display. The Show next year will be held on Saturday 9th September 2023 in the Market Hall.  Anyone can enter as well as visit the show - schedules listing categories will be available from  tel 786166.

New members are always welcome. If you would like more information please either email or leave a message on 01489 690121 or check out our Face Book page, Botley Gardening Club.
