Gardening Club
Lively club for all interested in gardening, meets at the Market Hall on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm, for expert, amateur and "armchair" gardeners, with speakers covering a wide range of topics, from bee keeping and roses, to organic gardening and wildlife. New members are always welcome, to enjoy not only the talks, but also the lively social life of the Club, which includes Christmas Socials, outings to gardens, and a New Year's Dinner. An annual Show, the showpiece of the Club, is held each September in the Market Hall, where fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers and home produce are all on display. The Show this year, 2019, is on Saturday 14th September in the Market Hall. Anyone can enter as well as visit the show - schedules listing categories available from tel 786166. Doors open to the public at 1.30pm
