Elsie's Traditional Tea Rooms

ElsiesTeaRoom2Elsie’s is a cosy traditional tearoom, relaxed in ambience, set in a beautiful detached character building which was originally a stable. The tearoom is vintage in style, with its’ shabby chic furniture lovingly up-cycled by owner Karen Healey.

Elsie’s serves a light brunch until noon followed by lunch which includes homemade fresh soups, baked potatoes, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches with homemade chutneys and afternoon tea served on pretty vintage china with a choice of homemade cakes and scones, clotted cream and homemade preserves.

Elsie’s absolutely adores cake and caters for all cake lovers including gluten free and vegan diets. The choice of cake each day is endless making it almost impossible to make a choice. Elsie’s uses seasonal produce and enjoys getting creative with cake baking so that we may take advantage of this.
