Travel to Botley

Botley is located in Southern Hampshire and is easily accessible from the M27. Botley train station is on the main line between Reading and Brighton. It has direct connections to London Waterloo, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Winchester, Reading and Brighton.

By Car
Botley lies in between Junctions 7 and 8 of the M27.From Junction 7 follow the sign-posts for Botley taking the first exit off the roundabout (eastbound) or the 3rd exit (westbound) onto Charles Watts Way (A334). At first roundabout take the second exit continuing on the A334.  At the next roundabout, follow signs for the A334 taking the second exit onto Grange Road.  You will pass Botleigh Grange Hotel on your left.  At the next roundabout, continue on the A334 taking the second exit onto Broad Oak.  This road will lead you into Botley Village.  Click on Google Map for a wide area map with driving instructions. By Train

Botley Train station lies outside the village centre on Station Hill on the A334. The station itself is small and provides limited facilities.


It has
    - Car Parking  (20 FREE spaces)
    - Disabled Parking (1 space available)
    - Cycle Storage
It does NOT have
     - Toilet Facilities
     - Taxi rank 
Botley Station is not accessible by wheelchair users

Bus Number 3 Southampton – Hedge End – Botley -  Boorley Green

From Botley - Monday-Saturday daytimes every hour or thereabouts from approximately 0730  until 1940.
On Sundays there are ony 4 busses during the day, and no evenings service.
Approximate bus journey time between Southampton & Botley is 45 minutes
From Southampton - 0845 hourly until 1900.

Service 8B is an evening service between Botley and the centre of Southampton.

Despite being adjacent to Southampton Parkway station it is not straightforward to get from there to Botley by train.  A lift has been installed at the station so carrying luggage, wheelchairs or buggys is no longer a problem. Taxis and cars are served well with plenty of accessible parking.
