Out in the countryside

Botley is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Hamble Valley providing plenty of opportunity to get out into the countryside and blow the cobwebs away.

From the 400 acres of woodland and rolling fields within Manor Farm Country Park, where you can gain views of the River Hamble and it's wildlife to the small fields enclosed by hedgerows to the north of the villages.  The Parish Quay provides an excellent area to stop and watch wildlife, it is also the location of the Old Bark Store, where oak bark used to be stored for use in the tanning of leather.
